How can I access the complete history of a document?

In BoldSign, once a document is completed, you can access the document’s complete history by downloading and viewing its audit trail. An audit trail document serves as a comprehensive record, containing essential information about a document. This information includes the document ID, title, sender, signatories, IP addresses, timestamps, and more.
Follow the below steps to access the complete history of a document:
- Locate the
Documentsmenu, and then click onMy Documents. - Click the context menu at the right end of the document you want to access its history.
- Next, choose the
Download audit trailoption from the list to download the audit trail document.
- Alternatively, select the specific document for which you wish to view the history from the My Documents page. Then, click on the document to access its overview page.
- Next, click the
More Actionsdropdown located at the top right corner of the overview page, then select theDownload audit trailoption from the list to download the audit trail document.
- Now, you can view the document details in the audit trail document.
The audit trail document can only be downloaded for the documents you have sent and received. You cannot download other team members’ audit trail documents.
